Well, when we want to write a review we must go into the details and mention the technical points of the book and its pros and cons specifically:I have read some of the reviews. Some argued that the stuffs in the book is easy to find all over the internet, like kangaroo tails are hammers and shooting stars, big shadows are classic engulfing patterns and so on. That's right; but as a trader who just found his way into decent profiting after struggling for 5 years I must say that one mistake many make is they tend to brag about their system: fancy indicators on the charts, ellliot waves theory and so on.. But at the end of the day the goal is just to make money and what I found during these years is that the best way to make money is sticking to price action, support and resistance and trading higher time frames (H4 at least). Even the experienced traders can learn one or two good insights from the book that although they seem nothing special they are very helpful in filtering the bad trades for them, and also psychology part is very straightforward and practical. In summery here are the positive and negative points of the book in my view:Positive Points:1. This book is straight to the point and practical and very easy and fun to read.2. The focus on candlesticks and price action (most of the refined classic setups mentioned there are great) for a novice trader instead for indicators is priceless.3. The psychology part is also very direct and practical specially the pressure the author put on back testing (He even says back test my ideas first).4. Author insisted that trading higher time frames are easier and more profitable to trade an that's 100 percent true.Negative Points:1. I don't agree with last kiss setup and wammies and moolahs (I think they are not as strong as the other setups because the focus is more on the zones instead of candlesticks in these two setups).2. Author must mentioned the use of multiple time frame analysis in the setups for completing his ideas.3. He must mentioned the importance of some news like NFP that may destroy technical setup in a part.I think everyone must read this book but for novice traders it would be a great shortcut to profitable trading.

Much has been made about the techniques being presented as being simply very old price action trading renamed. That doesn't do this work justice. I had long ago tried price action trading and given it up as "not working". The value-added in this work is in the little tweaks applied to the old techniques, that, in my opinion makes them quite viable, eg, additional qualifiers on the pin bar or "kangaroo tail" as it were that makes it a much higher percentage play. It's possible those tweaks are available elsewhere, but I haven't seen them.I've demo traded this method successfully and gone on to live.While the other knock on this is the links to Peters' course work, the book by itself is self-contained, in my opinion. Any additional courses are unnecessary if you can understand and apply the book.All in all: superb and valuable.

Naked Forex is a great book so far. I started reading the book and I couldn't put it down. It is well written and unco plicated in it's core principal of trading naked.

Naked Forex is by far the most informative book on forex trading I've come across. Having read numerous books attempting to get started trading, I felt myself feeling frustrated and confused. I now have an excellent place to start and a strategy I am comfortable with. I encourage anyone determined to learn forex trading to GET THIS BOOK!

This is a good book but then quickly becomes an upsale for the monthly membership forum which leads to other products. The examples are good, names of some of the technicals are merely reworded from originals. Google is better

i usually dont write alot of reviews...i guess i'm hard to please. but after reading this book...i gotta say i'm pretty impressed. let me be simple and to the point as i can. if you follow the directions in the book and follow the steps outlined you will make money. how consistent you are and how much you make will depend on your discipline and your willingness to work hard. good luck!

These guys give a new trader three things he really needs:1) real useable, complete, detailed strategies2) a method of accelerated trading practice that won't cost money3) a method to determine when you're ready to trade real money in the real market.They also share some useful insights on trading psychology, but the three things above make it worth the price of admission for new traders.

I bought this book for my husband as he is a nut for baseball and he needs challenges to keep his brain stimulated. His doctor recommended puzzles as he has had some brain injuries due to car crashes and as we age it is apparent we do not always remember the things we used to know and my husband is even worse and it frustrates him. The MD suggested that puzzles may open the channels by stimulating his knowledge as he has a master degree and he wants to be active and loves to socialize and talk to others- esp about sports.This book is like DELL Puzzles as it shows EASY to HARD puzzles. However, it seems they are more Hard than Easy overall.I love logic puzzles and I tried an Easy puzzle and it was Hard to me as I got stumped and had to ask for help. I hate sports overall but I was raised on Baseball and Trivia abt baseball - the only sport besides bowling I actually understand!This book will last you for a long long long time and will entertain the whole family as you will need their input. you can make a whole family evening just doing baseball stats and trivia. What a novel idea spending time together!!!

This Baseball themed Brain Games book is great! Would be perfect for baseball fans who enjoy various types of puzzles. It does help to have some knowledge about the game, players and history when working some of the puzzles. Answer key is in the back if you need hints. Brain Games books like this one have increasing levels of difficulty for the puzzles with those at the back of the book being more difficult. Gave this as a gift and it was a "hit"!

Quick summary of events which inspire and give hope. Reinforces the fact that you should NEVER GIVE UP and once you take that first step, things start to make more sense.

I ordered this by mistake; really meant to get the full-length version, so I ended up ordering it, too. This summary cuts to the chase without all of the extra stuff. Not sure I missed much in the short version versus the full-length version.

Very good easy read. Keeps your attention. Very doable. I will definitely apply this in 2018. Book came at the perfect time. Good for anyone to read.

This book is just a printed infomercial for Options Moneymaker online services. If you join, then fine. As a stand alone guide for options trading in general it's not much help.

Charts and examples are hard to read due to small font sizes. As an options beginner found the examples hard to follow. The book is a precursor to a training subscription service.

This is a very upsetting read, I am actually offended because it reads just like the transcript to a pyramid scheme seminar. Do not buy this, you have been warned! Here are a few facts about the book. 1. This book is not about 'more profits in less time', nor is it about retirement security and financial liberation as the cover claims. This is a book about spreads and chart reading- that is all. And my opinion is that it even does this poorly as you will see in the next points. 2. The author consistently attempts to convince readers that the author's company "Options Money Maker" is somehow special and that they have developed unique trading techniques such as the "COMBO" and the "Market Tamer". In reality, these techniques are widely known (by options traders) by typical names such as the Condor. Renaming known tools is not educational, it is distracting (this is my opinion of course). Finally, 3. The book is not professional in any sense, and has no publishing company cited. This equates to having repetitive stock images and image prints which are nearly unreadable. It is also clear that the book was written to be printed in color, and was not in the end- this makes several of the chart reading points useless.Look elsewhere if you want an actual education in options. Good luck!

Mark breaks down options trading into clear understandable explanations. Easy to follow, and offers insight for both beginners and experienced options traders. Great book from an expert in the field.

I have not trade options and wanted to learn more on the strategies for profitable trading. This book gives a clear explanation of how to trade options using multiple strategies. For each strategy, it provides examples of how to approach a trade for a successful outcome. After reading the book, now I have a better understanding of the strategies to trade options. This book is also a good reference for those who have been trading options and provides additional web site resources. I have not used the additional web sites provided in this book.

Bought the Kindle edition! As always with insight guides one sees the country through their wonderful pictures! Great complement to Lonely Planet, Moon Guide or Rough Guide!

It's a great book, but not to take with you on your trip. It's very heavy and big. Otherwise, it's a ok.

I'll know more after the trip. The read at this point is great. The Insight Guides are great for travel and to sit on the coffee table!

This is a great book for finding hikes on the Parkway. I would recommend it.

A must have book for driving the parkway. In the back of the book is an invaluable list of mileposts. For each milepost, the author identifies the elevation, walks / hikes (some are even 5 minutes get-out-and-stretch-your-legs-walk). The main part of the book includes details on numerous hikes which the author identifies essential information including difficulty (strenuous/easy/etc.), time, terrain, views, etc. This book is now our keepsake which we refer to often to remember the trip. What a perfect book to capture everything you need to know about the BRP!

As someone who lives near and regularly hikes trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway, I commend Randy Johnson's excellent "Hiking The Blue Ridge Parkway." First, I love the author's dedication . . .To past and present Appalachian families - the people who know how much you have to love the mountains to make a living there. And to the men and women of the Blue Ridge Parkway - who help the rest of us appreciate why it's worth the effort.It shows the author's love, and indeed respect, for the region he so ably writes about.As a guide, the book features 72 maps, the great majority of them, 68 by my count, being detailed topographic maps that will satisfy even the most serious hikers. The author has included a topo map for virtually every hike, something that is fairly unprecedented in this book genre. I've never understood how you can have a trail guide that expects people to read a trail description without a map to look at. The book also includes lots of good photos.I appreciate the fact that the author provides broad cultural, geographic and historical overviews aimed not only at educating the reader about the region but also at explaining how to craft a hike to match the hiker's interests.The mileage log in the rear of the book also provides travel information and observations that make this back-of-book section almost worthy of a separate guidebook itself.Moreover, the author not only covers trails along the Parkway but also trails near the Parkway. The summit of Mt. Mitchell, the highest peak in the Eastern United States, for example, is five miles off the Parkway, but thankfully the author covers the beautiful trails there. The book also includes the region's only truly urban hike, Asheville's Urban Trail.Between the book's overall introduction, its maps and photos, and the travel-oriented introductions to the different sections of the Parkway, this book truly lives up to the claim in the book's subtitle, "The Ultimate Guide to America's Most Popular Scenic Roadway."No wonder best-selling author Robert Morgan, who hails from this region, and Blue Ridge Parkway author Harley Jolley, both quoted on the cover, say this is the guide book to buy. If I had been able, I would have given this book six stars.

As a child, I first hiked trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway with my father more than 40 years ago, and over the decades I've continued to return with a sense of awe at the area's spectacular beauty and rich seasonal variety. But what has been lacking for all of that time is a trail guide that mixes knowledgeable commentary and accurate descriptions with good topographical maps and photos. "Hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway," which I picked up just last week on the way to the mountains, now fills that void in exemplary fashion.I've hiked a good many of the trails, but I was surprised and pleased to see that there are many that I've not yet tried-and now plan to experience. I can attest that my favorite hikes are described very accurately, with historical and geographical commentary that gives me a new appreciation for some of the places I thought I knew quite well. Details such as the topo maps, elevation gains, difficulty levels, and key-points lists really open up the trails for both beginners and experienced hikers. A 38-page Parkway mileage log at the back of the book is a handy reference for trails, facilities, and resources. I'm sure that this book will accompany thousands of hikers who want to get the most out of their Blue Ridge Parkway hiking experiences.

As an avid hiker, I struggle to find detailed maps and descriptions of hikes. My time is limited, so I love to find out exactly what to expect on a hike before I begin. "Hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway" has become my primary reference to discovering new hikes that are easy to find. It is very evident that Mr. Johnson has hiked all of the trails because of the great details such as "don't get sucked down the old trail... bear right to reach the junction with two signs."I know how easy to take a wrong turn on hike, so such details are very helpful. However, my favorite part of the book are the detailed topo maps. When I set out on a hike from the book, I make a copy of the desription and map to take with me. I refer to the map a lot (to avoid those wrong turns!). The mileage log in the back of the book gives a great mile-by-mile account of the Parkway.There are many amazing hikes along the Parkway. Don't miss them!

This is an excellent book and very thorough. I have read it several times and compared it to information from other books as well as the internet and national park service materials. It is very helpful to those who are serious about pre-planning a vacation. The maps are especially helpful. The only criticism I have is that the estimated amount of time it would take to do each hike is not included. I most definitely recommend this book.

This guide leads hikers on some of the best trails along the Parkway. As a summer resident of the area I have been hiking the area for several years and I still learned from this guide. As a biologist, I particularly liked the coverage of plants and animals of the area.
