I found this book a delight in getting in the holiday mood as I drank my mid-day mug of black hazelnut coffee, sweet.Sandy, like some people, hates how everyone participates in the commercialization the holiday season has become and have forgotten what the holiday is all about. He even resents being reminded about it by his wife; but she’s doing it more for their grandkids than anyone else.Sandy’s boss, Jude, at the ski school where he works comes up with the wonderful idea of having all their instructors dress up as Santa so they can hear the Christmas wishes their patrons have. While there no three spirits in this story to help with Scrooge’s transformation. As he hears the students assigned to him talk about the holiday and their wishes, Sandy slowly begins to realizes he’s the one who been brainwashed by the overly commercialization and that there are still others who hold to the true meaning of the holiday and its value the way he remembers them to be.For having been GOOD in writing this story, this Santa’s Helper is giving this author, 5 STARS.

4 starsI purchased Skiing with Santa September 2016 written by Roz Marshall and this review was given freely. This is a well written short snippet that focuses on a day near Christmas and Sandy's regaining the real meaning of Christmas. Best if read in sequence and with the remaining sections of the Secrets in the Snow story.

This is a good story to put you in the holiday mood. In a way, it's predictable; the Scrooge-like person who hates Christmas learns its true meaning. But it's entertaining to see this realization take place on the ski slopes. The characters are entertaining and you can feel their pain and doubt. It's worth the read.

It was predictable, of course, but the main character was more than just a miserly Scrooge, and I thought the rest of the characters were well written, although I would have liked a little more depth to the real meaning of Christmas. It's been a long, long time since I was on a ski slope and I enjoyed a glimpse at the slopes again. Brought back my time as a member of the 'snow-plough' group:) The descriptions of machinery didn't enlighten me much, but the setting was unique, interesting and felt real.I am also an author and I received a complimentary copy of this story to review.

I received a gift copy of this book from the author, and this is my voluntary and honest review.Sandy had had his fill of Christmas and with the approaching season he is once again confronted with the overt commercialism that surrounds Christmas. Ski school owner Jude asks her instructors to dress up as Santa, and Sandy looks the most authentic of the lot. However, his heart is not in the venture. Having lived in a country where Christmas is not celebrated at all, and also having been in the troughs of despair over one Christmas, I could identify with Sandy's feelings about a holiday that has been taken over by red suited Santas, noisy irreverent jingles and budgets being overextended. However, like Sandy I also had my perspective upended, leading me to the realisation of what Christmas is actually all about. Skiing with Santa is a gentle reminder of the meaning of Christmas and the reason we celebrate this holiday.

This is a short story about one of the workers at the White Cairns Ski School. Sandy looks like Santa, but is nothing like him. In fact, Sandy detests Christmas. The instructors are asked to dress as Santa for the day and listen to the wish lists of the skiers as they ski. Sandy encounters a couple of people who bring a whole new perspective to the holiday season and he comes to the realization that things aren't the way he thought they were. I loved the lessons he learned and the insight the reader gains about his character.Content: one or two mild swear words; no violence; brief mention of a woman with a female partner. Clean.*I received a copy in exchange for an honest review*

This is an adorable short story about Sandy, one of the ski instructors. Sandy gets to dress up as santa for the day, which puts him back in the right frame of mind. Very cute story that honors Christmas and the reason for the season.

I was intrigued by the variety of reviews this book received. I've read Felice before and knew I enjoyed her writing style, her voice, and what she brings to the genre--fascinating, nuanced, yet accessible characters--but I felt "Hold Me Together" took it to a whole new level.Setting aside the story for a moment, there are a couple of technically difficult things she accomplishes in this book. The story is told exclusively from the heroine, Holly's view, yet the reader comes away with a clear sense of who the hero, Gavin, is. We understand his goals and the depth of his love...and understanding of his new bride. He knows her better than she knows herself...or dares to admit to herself. Next, Felice brings a separate personality to each brother, without putting the reader in that person's head. She does it deftly through the eyes of the heroine. Gavin, Brody, McKenna, Luke, Travis and Abel all stood out. As did patriarch Hank, and neighbor Marcie. Everyone was separate, distinct, and fully formed.The story challenges boundaries and comfort zones...and that's the fun of reading erotica, right? If you want mainstream, read mainstream. Felice takes us on Holly's journey, and gives us enough insight into her past, and Gavin, and the brothers, to make it believable and workable and utterly fascinating. Yes, she walks a fine line, and no, this is not your mother's Harlequin, but, frankly, it's a heck of a lot more compelling. This story will stick with you.

I was really torn by this book. [Potential spoilers ahead.] The premise is interesting, and the sex was often hot, and there was enough to like for me to give it three stars. Basically, it's about a husband who tells his new wife, on their WEDDING NIGHT, that he plans to share her with his brothers. But there's definitely some stuff missing. The book kind of feels like it's jumping from brother to brother. Kind of like it's just a bunch of sexual vignettes. There's some narrative from the heroine, but not enough, and what there is is confusing. And in no way am I okay with the husband springing the whole "sharing" thing with her on their wedding night. That's just wrong, no matter what his reasons are. That's like a next-level lack of trust. I'd kick him in the nuts and file for divorce, in that order. Oh, and the dad somehow figured out she's sleeping with all his sons but he had literally no indication of it, no way of knowing, other than maybe a look or something at the dinner table to clue him in. But it wouldn't tell him she's sleeping with ALL of them. That's a huge leap. And when he finds out, he turns into this weird religious zealot that's a 180 from who he was before, and most of his sons sit there like cowards. They were happy to have sex with her, but not willing to come to her defense with a "hey, this was OUR idea, not hers." Some of the brothers are complex and interesting but that really took the shine off them and made me not want to read their books.

I'm torn about how to rate this book. The writing was well done and the story unique.That said, where is it OK for a husband to tie up his wife on her wedding night, have his brothers assault her and then subject her to each of them one-on-one during the following weeks, including one brother who's into spanking and one who can only enjoy sex by raping her!!!She is supposed to accept and embrace their lifestyle because "she loves him" and wants to be part of the family! And supposedly her body responds to their repeated assaults (NOT IN REAL LIFE-TRUST ME).Has anyone ever heard of an abusive relationship. The first thing an abuser does is convince the victim that it's for their own good, and that if they don't agree, the problem is within them!This is sooo not acceptable on so many ways I truly can't begin to list them.

This is an amazing series!. You can not go wrong with some sexy sweet kinky cowboy's!. The characters in this book is fantastic!. A spunky Holly who marries one of the kinky Cameron Brothers. Six Cameron Brothers each one sexier then the next ,-Luke, Travis, McKenna, Brody, Abel, and Gavin her husband. When Holly married Gavin she knew he had a kinky side but until their wedding night she did not know how kinky!. On their wedding night Gavin ties her up then lets her know he wants to share her with his Brothers now. Can Holly handle that Gavin wants to share her or will the marriage end before it even begins?This is a super amazing book and each book in this series has been amazing!. You will so love Felice Fox's kinky cowboys!

I am intrigued by the concept not that I want to be Holly. I really liked take me for longing and the just sext series. I wanted to give this a try. I am very curious how Holly will feel when a new woman is introduced.

This is the first in her series and the one that I had started to read until it reached a point where this man, who had recently married, was going to have his wife to have sex with all his brothers. SICK, SICK, SICK

This was a difficult read for me. Hard to imagine the concept trying to be portrayed in this book.

Unless you are open minded to this kind of sex I wouldnt read it.I quit after one chapter since I dont believe in that kind of sex.

Kids love the book

My granddaughter is a dedicated gymnast and adores Shawn.

Amazing book

It was fun to read but there were some grammar issues. You had to try to figure out what it would really say.

My 10 year old daughter enjoyed this book. She has used it for a class book report. She had no problems with the reading level, but did notice some editing errors. She was thrilled with all she learned about Shawn Johnson.

quick delivery, good quality, letters big enough to read comfortable and very interesting stories.I would like more pictures, even though it has several and good ones.

I really enjoyed this read. Shawn keeps her focus on her goals and accepts the outcome of Her performance. She sets high standards for other athletes.

I gave this as a gift to my gymnast niece, she seemed very happy to receive it, but I can't say any more beyond that.

This book prepared me for the exam. It has been a very long time since I have explored the university-level math that was on this exam. It was still a very difficult, timed exam but the practice tests as well as the informative info was perfect. I did end up passing and I would not have, had it not been for the prep from this book.

The product served as a great study tool for the OAR and review of skills that I had learned earlier in my education, however, I believe that review material and questions could be specified to fit the problems that are present on the actual OAR exam and in everyday military life. For instance, Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, and Mechanical Comprehension examples and questions that an officer in the military would see in everyday duty would provide better study aid for the exam. Overall a great study tool.

Reading and mechanic portion is good but math portion lacks a lot, extremely different from the actual test

This study guide sucked. Absolutely terrible. Only the mechanical comprehension has any bearing on the actual test which is the only reason I gave this 2 stars. The math in here is a bloody joke. In reality you need to restudy all of your college level math instead of this guides 6 -10 grade bs. The reading comprehension section of this study guide has litterally no bearing on what is on the actual test. The practice test in here is pathetic. I would have scored a 74 if it was used instead of the real one, but alas I live in the real world, not the land of Narnia this pos came from. This thing is chocked full of errors, spelling mistakes, and overall bad information. Save your money and try the other guide, or do what I am going to do and use actual text books. I did pass the test btw, but literally no thanks to this guide (save for some of the mechanical aspects). Seriously, this this will not help you.

Good book to study with, I have nothing against it. But don't just use it alone, find other resources online.

The math and curriculum is incredibly untrustworthy. It’ll try to help you, yes, but as an individual you have to do your own independent thinking to know that the book is wrong. I suggest buyin a different book.

Well, when we want to write a review we must go into the details and mention the technical points of the book and its pros and cons specifically:I have read some of the reviews. Some argued that the stuffs in the book is easy to find all over the internet, like kangaroo tails are hammers and shooting stars, big shadows are classic engulfing patterns and so on. That's right; but as a trader who just found his way into decent profiting after struggling for 5 years I must say that one mistake many make is they tend to brag about their system: fancy indicators on the charts, ellliot waves theory and so on.. But at the end of the day the goal is just to make money and what I found during these years is that the best way to make money is sticking to price action, support and resistance and trading higher time frames (H4 at least). Even the experienced traders can learn one or two good insights from the book that although they seem nothing special they are very helpful in filtering the bad trades for them, and also psychology part is very straightforward and practical. In summery here are the positive and negative points of the book in my view:Positive Points:1. This book is straight to the point and practical and very easy and fun to read.2. The focus on candlesticks and price action (most of the refined classic setups mentioned there are great) for a novice trader instead for indicators is priceless.3. The psychology part is also very direct and practical specially the pressure the author put on back testing (He even says back test my ideas first).4. Author insisted that trading higher time frames are easier and more profitable to trade an that's 100 percent true.Negative Points:1. I don't agree with last kiss setup and wammies and moolahs (I think they are not as strong as the other setups because the focus is more on the zones instead of candlesticks in these two setups).2. Author must mentioned the use of multiple time frame analysis in the setups for completing his ideas.3. He must mentioned the importance of some news like NFP that may destroy technical setup in a part.I think everyone must read this book but for novice traders it would be a great shortcut to profitable trading.

Much has been made about the techniques being presented as being simply very old price action trading renamed. That doesn't do this work justice. I had long ago tried price action trading and given it up as "not working". The value-added in this work is in the little tweaks applied to the old techniques, that, in my opinion makes them quite viable, eg, additional qualifiers on the pin bar or "kangaroo tail" as it were that makes it a much higher percentage play. It's possible those tweaks are available elsewhere, but I haven't seen them.I've demo traded this method successfully and gone on to live.While the other knock on this is the links to Peters' course work, the book by itself is self-contained, in my opinion. Any additional courses are unnecessary if you can understand and apply the book.All in all: superb and valuable.

Naked Forex is a great book so far. I started reading the book and I couldn't put it down. It is well written and unco plicated in it's core principal of trading naked.

Naked Forex is by far the most informative book on forex trading I've come across. Having read numerous books attempting to get started trading, I felt myself feeling frustrated and confused. I now have an excellent place to start and a strategy I am comfortable with. I encourage anyone determined to learn forex trading to GET THIS BOOK!

This is a good book but then quickly becomes an upsale for the monthly membership forum which leads to other products. The examples are good, names of some of the technicals are merely reworded from originals. Google is better

i usually dont write alot of reviews...i guess i'm hard to please. but after reading this book...i gotta say i'm pretty impressed. let me be simple and to the point as i can. if you follow the directions in the book and follow the steps outlined you will make money. how consistent you are and how much you make will depend on your discipline and your willingness to work hard. good luck!

These guys give a new trader three things he really needs:1) real useable, complete, detailed strategies2) a method of accelerated trading practice that won't cost money3) a method to determine when you're ready to trade real money in the real market.They also share some useful insights on trading psychology, but the three things above make it worth the price of admission for new traders.

I bought this book for my husband as he is a nut for baseball and he needs challenges to keep his brain stimulated. His doctor recommended puzzles as he has had some brain injuries due to car crashes and as we age it is apparent we do not always remember the things we used to know and my husband is even worse and it frustrates him. The MD suggested that puzzles may open the channels by stimulating his knowledge as he has a master degree and he wants to be active and loves to socialize and talk to others- esp about sports.This book is like DELL Puzzles as it shows EASY to HARD puzzles. However, it seems they are more Hard than Easy overall.I love logic puzzles and I tried an Easy puzzle and it was Hard to me as I got stumped and had to ask for help. I hate sports overall but I was raised on Baseball and Trivia abt baseball - the only sport besides bowling I actually understand!This book will last you for a long long long time and will entertain the whole family as you will need their input. you can make a whole family evening just doing baseball stats and trivia. What a novel idea spending time together!!!

This Baseball themed Brain Games book is great! Would be perfect for baseball fans who enjoy various types of puzzles. It does help to have some knowledge about the game, players and history when working some of the puzzles. Answer key is in the back if you need hints. Brain Games books like this one have increasing levels of difficulty for the puzzles with those at the back of the book being more difficult. Gave this as a gift and it was a "hit"!
